Compression
Compression means the public structure appears more stabilizing near current levels. In a positive gamma environment, estimated hedging can dampen realized movement, but this can change if spot moves through important transition levels.
Transition
Transition means the market is near a boundary such as a gamma flip zone, major wall, or elevated volatility pressure state. These are the scenarios where data freshness and confidence matter most.
Expansion risk
Expansion risk means estimated hedging pressure may become more pro-cyclical. GEX can highlight this state, but it cannot guarantee that volatility will expand or that a specific path will occur.
Risk score and confidence
The public risk score summarizes market-structure caution, while confidence summarizes the quality of the current public scenario. A high-confidence structure can still be invalidated by fresh market data.
Practical research workflow
Start with data freshness, inspect the gamma regime, locate the flip zone, compare spot to support/resistance levels, then read the AI interpretation as a concise explanation of those fields.
